Concepts Of Fitness And Wellness: A Comprehensive Lifestyle Approach with PowerWebWell, Concepts Of Fitness And Wellness: A Comprehensive Lifestyle Approach with PowerWeb taught me a lesson learned - I should decrease dining out on fast food chains if I would not like to suffer from obesity, heart problems, high blood pressure and diabetes! I do think I deserve a more well-rounded life and a bunch of healthier foods.
Edinburgh: Travel Guide (Collins Traveller)Didn't think much of Edinburgh: Travel Guide (Collins Traveller)..could have been longer, delved more into the characters etc. not sure if I'd read anything else by this author
Mercedes-Benz The Grand Cabrios & CoupesMercedes-Benz The Grand Cabrios & Coupes has a great plot and interesting characters. But as usual, the lack of editing really works against what could be a great book, very distracting. A simple proof-read and spell check would solve a lot of problems.
The African Element in GandhiThe African Element in Gandhi probably won't tell you much about communication that you don't already know. I saw nothing spectacular about it and I'm really confused as to why it has so many great reviews. It isn't terrible, but it is very short and I'm glad I had picked this one up for free.
Photography in Japan 1853-1912Honestly, I don't often rave about Photography in Japan 1853-1912. But this is one of those! It moves a little more slowly than some do, but it is one of those that you will treasure always. This is the kind of book you want to crawl inside and live there. I wholeheartedly advise you to read it!
Se soigner avec l'EMDR (French Edition)The description of whether it was a hard cover or soft cover was first which save me a lot of time. The condition and pricing of Se soigner avec l'EMDR (French Edition) was great. I received Se soigner avec l'EMDR (French Edition) quickly, before the expected date for the normal shipping price.
Guignol's Band, Bd.2Great classic full of adventure and mystery. I'll always enjoy reading Guignol's Band, Bd.2 when I want to relive a part of my childhood.
Panische AngstPanische Angst will keep you reading until you have finished the epilogue. Often in reading books I find parts that are exaggerated or are too far-fetched to believe. Panische Angst was very real, and you can imagine this story taking place. If you want a good read, this is it. Highly recommend!
Manuel d'antiéconomie (French Edition)Could not put this series down until I had finished all three books. All Manuel d'antiéconomie (French Edition)s were so good, guessing what will happen next kind of exciting and left you wanting more. As to Manuel d'antiéconomie (French Edition) I really didn't see it ending the way it played out. This is a wonderful series, definitely leaves the you thinking it the future.
IronworkI love Ironwork. I will be reading more books by this author. She keeps you interested from the beginning to the end. I will recommend her to my daughter, who is an avid reader.
Le journal de Carmilla, Tome 1 (French Edition)Omg Le journal de Carmilla, Tome 1 (French Edition) was so good. Alot of suprises and new characters. This was a page turner, in Le journal de Carmilla, Tome 1 (French Edition) there was alot of backstabbing and drama can't wait for part 3.
La Voyante: Blanche Vaubaron. Tome 1 (Litterature) (French Edition)La Voyante: Blanche Vaubaron. Tome 1 (Litterature) (French Edition) is poetic and challenges the thinking. The chapters are only 2-3 pages which is great for an early morning devotional. It really makes you think, but at the same time adds beauty to your life. Each chapter ends with two questions of very good application. I love La Voyante: Blanche Vaubaron. Tome 1 (Litterature) (French Edition).
The Pegasus Principle: Secret of the StonesI had a hard time putting The Pegasus Principle: Secret of the Stones down. I am very drawn to stories of the Holocaust and the amazing survival stories. The Pegasus Principle: Secret of the Stones had a wonderful story to tell and it was a pleasure to read.
Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine 30th Anniversary AnthologyI found out about this cookbook/almanac when I ate at a local Italian restaurant (Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine 30th Anniversary Anthologyshelf to share with customers while they waited for their food). Actually, someone else was looking at it - when they left I was able to look at it. I immediately came home and ordered it. I would definitely recommend this cookbook. Lots of interesting info.
The House by the Medlar Tree: I Malavoglia (Dedalus European Classics Series)I bought a few homesteading books to help with building our bug out kits and the utility trailer that we are setting up to take with us in case we have to leave our home in an emergency. I found just two that I have read and kept to put in the box. This is one of them. There is a lot of information in it that you don't think about before you are in the situation and The House by the Medlar Tree: I Malavoglia (Dedalus European Classics Series) covers a lot.
Interdiction WeaponsInterdiction Weapons has no emotion, depth or human insight. It reads like a clinical analysis. Boring and disappointing as was the Stranger.
All in the Detail: Over 400 Finishing Touches That Make a House a HomeAfter reading all the glowing literary commentary I couldn't wait to start All in the Detail: Over 400 Finishing Touches That Make a House a Home. I liked the opening scenes and then it seemed as if everything fell apart. Not one of the characters had any continuity or depth and Jeanne, in particular, felt stereotyped and stilted even when I wanted to relate to her. Too bad.
AutographWow! This was excellent - a FAST read that kept me worrying and wondering the whole time. There was not one dull moment and I will surely pick up Autograph and read it again because its a keeper!
