Air Cargo: 9th: International Forum ProceedingsAir Cargo: 9th: International Forum Proceedings is very graphically designed. I have started it, but it is deep in thought and graphs and charts.I will get through it, but will not be a fast read for me. Overall, I have scanned it and feel like itis a good book. I hope it helps me to understand not only the historical part but today's gyrations in thefinancial world as well as the political workings of an ineffective government.
ERISA facts, 1998I loved the movie (the original Swedish, of course). So ERISA facts, 1998 was the obvious next step. I want disappointed. I was excited to discover new parts of Blomkvist and Salandar's relationship that weren't explored in the film. The detail was incredible.
Complete Guide to the 1999-2000 Survey Process: Home Care and Long Term Care PharmaciesAt first I thought I wasn't going to be really but as I started reading i couldn't stop and it was all I though about, ypu know what they say! Don't judge Complete Guide to the 1999-2000 Survey Process: Home Care and Long Term Care Pharmacies by its cover! I definetly recommend Complete Guide to the 1999-2000 Survey Process: Home Care and Long Term Care Pharmacies for those people who like romance and dystopian societies
Plays of Lord Byron (Liverpool University Press - Liverpool English Texts & Studies)I have been reading thousands of book in my life, there was 3 books I could not get through, now there are 4. I could not relate to any of the "characters" or "plot". Lots of other peole have written long explanations to why Plays of Lord Byron (Liverpool University Press - Liverpool English Texts & Studies) is boring, badly written and not worth spending any money or time on. I AGREE with all of them.
Gabon to 1995: Will Oil Secure Economic Transformation (EIU economic prospects series)Gabon to 1995: Will Oil Secure Economic Transformation (EIU economic prospects series) was very helpful. The first section was a little tough but still productive reading, the rest of Gabon to 1995: Will Oil Secure Economic Transformation (EIU economic prospects series) was well written. It is a resource for now and in the future, something I will refer back to and read again and again. Thanks.
Methods of Detection & Identification of BacteriaI was not expecting lots of letters as Methods of Detection & Identification of Bacteria, but I found it fascinating and so intense. A true love and a bond between 2 souls. I read Methods of Detection & Identification of Bacteria in 2 sittings. I read Damien's book earlier and bought this the day it released.
The PlanetsI can only say that this one from Neggers is okay, and that strictly for the author's fans. Jesse, the villain of the piece, spices things up a little, but McKenzie and Andrew simply lack any charm or charisma. These two pretty much waltz through The Planets although McKenzie does get tossed around a little. Strictly for those obsessed with the genre, but nothing special for most readers.
The Common Sense of Politics... I enjoyed The Common Sense of Politics and was very happy that the drama wasn't over the top. but I'm mad her brother didn't cover for her at all. but anxious to read part to... I think everyone would enjoy this quick read.
Deborah Turbeville's Newport Remembered: A Photographic Portrait of a Gilded PastI didn't read Deborah Turbeville's Newport Remembered: A Photographic Portrait of a Gilded Past as fast as I normally read books. It didn't keep my interest quite as much. The one and only sex scene between the main characters was sub par and over like a flash. I did enjoy it though and am curious to see what happens with Emily and Gavin in Pulse.
Dear Friend: Rainer Maria Rilke and Paula Modersohn-BeckerIt is both sweet and sincere, with a good part of passion and love sewn into the story. If you are looking for an great love story involving a sexy soldier, this is Dear Friend: Rainer Maria Rilke and Paula Modersohn-Becker for you. This is one book I truly am happy to have purchased.!!
Peculiar Crossroads: Flannery O'Connor, Walker Percy, and Catholic Vision in Postwar Southern Fiction (Library of Southern Civilization)Having read Peculiar Crossroads: Flannery O'Connor, Walker Percy, and Catholic Vision in Postwar Southern Fiction (Library of Southern Civilization), I come away inspired to work on the challenges in my life so I can achieve my dreams and goals. Ashley honestly writes and doesn't sugar coat her life's choices. Peculiar Crossroads: Flannery O'Connor, Walker Percy, and Catholic Vision in Postwar Southern Fiction (Library of Southern Civilization) pulled me in so deep, I read it in one sitting. I highly recommend this for a captivating and inspiring read.
1800's (Events That Changed the World)I was unhappy with 1800's (Events That Changed the World). I found my self skipping through pages without reading, to there are to many unnecessary details. The card game who cares how the game was played. I felt like she was just writing not using much of an imagination.
European Valuation Standards 2003I don't know very much about Golf, but my dad is an avid golfer so I got this to help me figure out what he was talking about :-) That being said, as a beginner, European Valuation Standards 2003 is great. It teaches the basics, and it's loaded with more information than I need. I could not review it from the standpoint of someone who is a real golfer, but for me, it was great.
Planning and Environmental Protection: An Introductory GuideI thoroughly enjoyed Planning and Environmental Protection: An Introductory Guide. The story of several young women living in England during WWII was insightful. However, the ending was so unbelievable as to be absurd. I will have to make up my own ending.
British Wood-Engraved Book Illustration, 1904-1940: A Break With TraditionI read British Wood-Engraved Book Illustration, 1904-1940: A Break With Tradition a couple months ago. And as soon as I finished it I read it again. I'm still not over it! Tarryn has a way with words and toying with your emotions that just doesn't fade quickly. If you want to read a different kind of novel that will suck you in from the very first chapter and make you cry and gasp, this is it. I can't wait for the next one!
LovingkindnessI was really sorry I bought Lovingkindness my expectation of Lovingkindness was too high because I read the the first one. It's the same thing just told from this point of view
The Limpid Stream OP39 Piano Score (DSCH)I am not usually one who cares much about stats, but Tancer does a really good job of presenting web stats and, in many instances, what those stats mean. Not sure how The Limpid Stream OP39 Piano Score (DSCH) will really help me with the two sites I run, but it is interesting nonetheless.
Living and Thriving With Head and Neck CancerSo glad to read Living and Thriving With Head and Neck Cancer by this new-to-me author! Bailey was broken in more ways than one. Paul had never stopped loving her and he was willing to take the time to show her. This novel had everything, family drama, love, a little bit of sexy and a lot of heart.
The Bad LandsI feel that The Bad Lands is more for the young. The writing is not quite graphic enough for the adult readers. It just didn't quite get there.
Abe Lincoln goes to Washington, 1837-1865I got into Abe Lincoln goes to Washington, 1837-1865 quickly. The characters were interesting and the story line kept me interested. I'm looking forward to reading his next book. He's a pretty good writer.
