Bruce Mccall 2007 Calendar: Serious NonsenseNot one to read historical western books. But it was really good. I enjoyed all the characters in Bruce Mccall 2007 Calendar: Serious Nonsense. What terrific twists and turns. It kept me turning the pages. I am sure you will enjoy this as much as I did.
Anne Geddes Collectors Edition 2006 Mini Wall CalendarI have just discovered clay sculpture, and didn't have a clue about the process. Anne Geddes Collectors Edition 2006 Mini Wall Calendar gave me a clear understanding of the process of completing a sculpture from clay to bronze, and the steps involved. I recommend it as a reference for any beginner...
Thoughts and FanciesThoughts and Fancies gave me everything I need to start my own faux painting business, including confidence! Thank you Rebecca for the insight, the humor and the weekly accounting ledger located in the back. Great, superb, and HIGHLY recommended.
Map Use and Analysis"For small businesses seeking extra motivation, this is Map Use and Analysis full of ideas. I have incorporated 2 ideas and had immediate results. Well written, well researched.
It's Snow Problem (Two of a Kind (Pb))some very good ideas in here-not a complex read so busy people can actually get thru It's Snow Problem (Two of a Kind (Pb))! most of us need to declutter I think!
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (Classics Illustrated)I just finished rereading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (Classics Illustrated) for an online book group and have to say I loved it even more this time around!! The characters, the descriptions are timeless! I think there is a little bit of Benny, Eve and Nan in each one of us and that is what makes The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (Classics Illustrated) such a treasure--an accessible bit of comfort food to cure what ails you.
Blind Men and the ElephantI leaned so much from Blind Men and the Elephant. I switched from a vegan diet to this and I feel so satisfied. I am hoping to shed the weight that I gained from being a vegan. So far so good!
The Marriage of EstherBrandon is a writer who decides to kill off his warrior woman character Seri, who comes to life and a romance develops in both the real world and his fictional one. I loved The Marriage of Esther and the author's creative imagination. A must read for fantasy readers.
West's American GovernmentThis is a level 4 book and is readable at this level. The issue I had is the content and illustrations seem a little better suited for older kids. If you have a more mature child West's American Government is well written on a complex event however my 10 and 8 year old both seemed a little young for the pictures in West's American Government.
Admiralty and Maritime Law: 1995-96 Pocket PartA well written easy to read book on a subject which has kept people wondering for years. Couldn't put Admiralty and Maritime Law: 1995-96 Pocket Part down and saved the last chapter for a day so I didn't finish Admiralty and Maritime Law: 1995-96 Pocket Part. Thoroughly enjoyed Admiralty and Maritime Law: 1995-96 Pocket Part
Harry S. Truman: Presidential Rhetoric (Great American Orators)I picked Harry S. Truman: Presidential Rhetoric (Great American Orators) up late one evening and then couldn't put it down. I loved every minute of it and was really rooting for Whitney to get home safely! I loved his sense of humor and his ingenuity when faced with difficult situations. Great read and glad I purchased.
Motivation in HumorThe author weaves a captivating story full of tension, with unexpected twists and turns, and a story within the story. I thoroughly enjoyed Motivation in Humor and found it hard to put down.
Happiness Around the World: The Paradox of Happy Peasants and Miserable MillionairesHappiness Around the World: The Paradox of Happy Peasants and Miserable Millionaires was good enough but I found it hard to like the main characters. The premise of the plot left a little to be desired and made it hard for the rest of Happiness Around the World: The Paradox of Happy Peasants and Miserable Millionaires to fall in line.
Daily Key to Today's Christians (Steeple books)Daily Key to Today's Christians (Steeple books) was great.. Could not put it down. I had it read in a day.. I love toni blake and the destiny series.. I would defiently recommend Daily Key to Today's Christians (Steeple books) to anyone..
Reservoir CharacterizationI unfortunately couldn't finish Reservoir Characterization. I don't know what it was but I will try again later because I don't like giving an author a fair shake.
Money and Finance in Yugoslavia: A Comparative AnalysisI really enjoyed Money and Finance in Yugoslavia: A Comparative Analysis. I picked it up at Barnes and Noble, because it was on sale and sounded like fun to read. I laughed and laughed and the ending was absolutely delightful. I highly recommend it for someone who likes this kind of book.
Who's Afraid of AI?: Fear and Promise in the Age of Thinking MachinesWho's Afraid of AI?: Fear and Promise in the Age of Thinking Machines everyone should read. Both a horrific and yet empowering experience for the author through forgiveness, displaying incredible courage, presence of mind, faith, determination, intelligence, hope, and belief in self and God.
Profile of Evil: FBI Profiler Romantic Suspense (Profile Series #1)You probably won't agree with everything the author challenges you to think about or do, but you will be touched by his passion. There comes a time when each of us, individually must determine how much is personally enough. Profile of Evil: FBI Profiler Romantic Suspense (Profile Series #1) won't make you feel guilty, but you will feel both blessed and encouraged to consider now less could be your "new more".
The Poetical Works of Lucy LarcomI found The Poetical Works of Lucy Larcom to be very predictable, not enough description. Just didn't like it. Don't waste your time on this one.
