Pilgrim Foods and RecipesI found Pilgrim Foods and Recipes to be very enjoyable. The writer has written it in such a fashion that it compels you become attached to the two main characters. It has just the right amount of detail, never too much that I got bored with them. I found it hard to put down and read it with enthusiasm. Pilgrim Foods and Recipes is a strange love story with a hint of mystery that makes for a good leisure read.

Lucky Star / UK-Version: An Imaginative Journey Through the World of Stars. Every Month a New Lucky Star Shines for You. (Calvendo Art)I've found it...the perfect book for the non-reader of science fiction who wants to be transfixed and carried away by the interaction of realism and fantasy! The story of Cullen and Pepsi left me breathless and sobbing. I'm sure Lucky Star / UK-Version: An Imaginative Journey Through the World of Stars. Every Month a New Lucky Star Shines for You. (Calvendo Art) has characters in it who'll not leave me for the rest of my life. Incredibly, Lucky Star / UK-Version: An Imaginative Journey Through the World of Stars. Every Month a New Lucky Star Shines for You. (Calvendo Art) is fairly small and quite easy to read. What a masterpiece!
Theory of Differential Equations Volume 5I've only made my way through the DVD and about 5 recipes, but they have all been successful for me. I look forward to working my way through the rest of Theory of Differential Equations Volume 5.
Le Corrège, Sa Vie Et Son OEuvre: Précédé D'un Essai Biographique Sur Marguerite Albana - Primary Source Edition (French Edition)Tokyo has a wide variety of styles, and Le Corrège, Sa Vie Et Son OEuvre: Précédé D'un Essai Biographique Sur Marguerite Albana - Primary Source Edition (French Edition) sets out to show a little bit of everything. There are a total of five different chapters, each addressing a different variety. If you just want a general idea, this is a great book for you. If you're into a specific look, odds are you'll find an example or two as well. Either way, it's a great little introduction to Japanese pop culture styles.
Congressional Record Volume 147, Issue 35You can't go wrong with the BOB book sets. We bought this for our 3-yr. old daughter and she was immediately captivated by the simple, yet cute stories. If you don't mind that the characters in Congressional Record Volume 147, Issue 35s are illustated in black & white (with a small splash of color here and there) then these are Congressional Record Volume 147, Issue 35s for your beginning reader(s). Our daughter was reading these in no time--I highly recommend!
The Principles Of Grammar: Being A Compendious Treatise On The Languages, English, Latin And GreekI don't know how anyone rated this only 1 star. The Principles Of Grammar: Being A Compendious Treatise On The Languages, English, Latin And Greek... is amazing. I felt the character development was perfect and the story was thorough. You have to read book 2 as well as it is a continuation of the story. I love long books like this that give you so much more depth and emotion than the traditional short novel. Worth getting!!!
Archaeological essays Volume 1I have been enjoying the entire Daughters of Power series, but this one I just couldn't get into and was not able to finish. It is very rare that I do not complete Archaeological essays ... Volume 1 I have purchased. I ended up skipping the middle of Archaeological essays ... Volume 1 and just reading the end. I will purchase the remainder of the series.
Aus Dem Leben [microform] Gedichte (German Edition)ok, so I admit I am not a huge christian romance person, but the problem with Aus Dem Leben [microform] Gedichte (German Edition) is that it is so boring that I forgot what I was reading! I had to go back over it to remember the story. It shouldn't matter who it was written for, there should be something unique and thoughtful in a story to make even a moment of it stick. Sadly, this one wasn't capable.
Non Verbal Reasoning: Book 1I enjoyed Non Verbal Reasoning: Book 1 and would recommend it to anyone!!! There has to be a part 2 and I hope a 3!!! It was an excellent book!!! Great family chemistry, funny and very well written. A few people said there was too much description, but I thought the writer did a great job hands down!!! It takes a lot to grip my attention, but this had it from the beginning till the end!!!
New Lights from Old TruthsI loved it. Interesting story line, believable characters (profanity and sex included!) and I HAD to find out what happened next. Most low reviews I found for New Lights from Old Truths are unhappy with the character's bad language and the few sex scene. So please, if you are a prude, do not read New Lights from Old Truths.Otherwise, enjoy the good read!!!
Flight Routings 1995I powered through Flight Routings 1995 but not necessarily because it was a great read... It just happened to be a really fast one and it was enjoyable but could have used a little more depth.
Coursework studies: British social and economic historyMy review is short. I thoroughly enjoyed Coursework studies: British social and economic history - couldn't put it down. I found it an inciteful view of what life is really like for women and children in present day Afghanistan. For me it was a real eye opener as to just what goes on behind the scenes of the many news stories I have seen.
The Mature Woman in America: A Selected Annotated Bibliography, 1979-1982The Mature Woman in America: A Selected Annotated Bibliography, 1979-1982 is amazing. Different from my normal choice of books but I'm so glad the books description stood out. The writing and authors choice of words were amazing and hysterical at times. This was a very amazing book. Can't wait to download the next one!!!!!
Learning to TalkLearning to Talk was a great book with a great story line. It was very enjoyable and doesn't have a boring place in it .a must read for vampire lovers.
Good News for Deaf People: Subtitling of National News ProgrammesThe one thing that really bothered me for some reason about Good News for Deaf People: Subtitling of National News Programmes was that it was hard to read. I think that I might just be used to reading books in past tense, and this was was written present tense and threw me for a loop. The story itself was good. It eventually turns into a very intense plot of the main character's past--which kept me turning page after page.
1628 Country Shortcuts From CountI enjoyed othof 1628 Country Shortcuts From Counts I read about these Englishmen sent on aprison ship to Australia. Well written and a good book.
Boot Camp for Leaders in K-12 Education: Continuous ImprovementI loved Boot Camp for Leaders in K-12 Education: Continuous Improvement but it seemed to move a little too quickly for me. There's so many unanswered questions so I'm hoping that there is more to it. All in all it was a decent read...not as good as the first two so I hope this next ones goes harder!!!
China since MaoI read China since Mao several years ago, but now have 17 and 15 year-old children. To be honest, I haven't had much success getting them to sit down and read books that I think would be important to them. So this time I purchased the 2 1/2 audio version and when they were stuck in the car with me on a road trip, I played it. It worked! And also provided for some great conversation along the way.
The Forgotten CountryI put The Forgotten Country on my Kindle for my 3 year old daughter. I wasn't sure what to expect, but we actually both enjoyed reading it! The illustrations are quite cute as well as the story itself. I would recommend The Forgotten Country for younger children, as it is quite short. I would certainly buy another book by this author!
